He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Unger and Barbara Unger (Troxell); and his brother Randy. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his son Jared Unger (Sandra Fraga) of Woodstock, MD; his grandchildren, Braeden, Deirdre, Gideon, Riordan and Theodore; and his siblings, Rick Unger (Lynda) of Glenwood, IA and Cathy Thompson of Chappel, NE. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
