He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Dorman and Helen Dorman (Altman); his parents-in-law, Lumir and Tillie Wanek (Zalesky); his sister Neva; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Hoffman, Marvin and Betty Lou Wanek.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Wanek of Lincoln, NE; his children, Jeny Albin (Jim) of Norfolk, NE and Kendall (JT Roy) of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Wollmann (Ian) of Omaha, NE and Christian Morton (Carla) of Elkhorn, NE; his great grandchildren, Rhys, Sam Wollmann, Caiden and Cora Morton; his sisters, Barb Hopkins (Butch) of Lincoln, NE and Karen Ware (John) of Lincoln, NE; his stepgrandsons, Addison Albin (Megan) of Parkville, MO and Jaxson Albin; Charlie of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In his lifetime, he donated over 16 gallons of blood to the Lincoln Community Blood Bank, volunteered at the Nebraska State Historical Society, never missed an opportunity to support his children and their families in their various activities and endeavors, and he never forgot to deliver red roses to Carole on their anniversary and Valentine's Day.
