Eleanor leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Eleanor’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Eleanor will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ratter and Emma Ratter (Eleanor); her husband Paul; and her son Steve. She is survived by: her children, Susan David (Jerry), Phillip Stern (Linda) and Jon Stern (Molly); and her sister-in-law Barb. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren & counting, with her first great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Wyuka Funeral Home & Cemetery (3600 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
