Elsie Gettman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2025, at the age of 97, Elsie Gettman of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dreith and Katherine Dreith; her husband Edwin; and her siblings, Edward, Harry, John, Robert Dreith, Helen Bird and Frieda Renter.
She is survived by: her son Randall (Joyce) of Walton; her grandchildren, Lisa Edwards (Andrew) of Waverly and Greg Gettman (Laura) of Palm Springs, CA; and her great grandchildren, Braelyn, Lillian, Camden and Kason Edwards. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Wyuka Cemetery (3600 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
