He is survived by: his wife Margaret Anderson; his children, Vicki McElroy (Ben), Chris Covert and Karl Covert (Dawn); his grandchildren, Rebecca Walker (Richard) of Lincoln, Brandon Covert (Jamie) of Lincoln, Jeremiah McElroy of Lincoln, Zachary Covert of Lincoln, Caleb Covert (Emmalee) of Lincoln and Emma Covert of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Fynnian Covert, Crue Covert and Fraser Covert; his siblings, David Covert of Ohio, Barbara Rhea of Ohio, Betty Fox of Ohio, Charles Covert (Brenda) of Ohio, Paula Count (Kelly) of Ohio and Steve Grabey of Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Brayman of California and Deb Kinghorn (Lynn) of Lincoln. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
