It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Maria Lohmeier of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erick Pennala and Johanna Pennala (Aho); and her husband John "Jack". She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Neely (Darrel) of Omaha, NE, Julie Bergen (Max) of Sutton, NE and Linda Pope of Lincoln, NE; her grandchild Erin Leger (Benoit) of Omaha; her children, Eric Neely (Stephanie) of Elkhorn, Mitch Bergen (Carrie) of Lincoln, Jake Bergen (Marlo) of Lincoln, Claire Kayton (Nick) of Albion, Chad Pope of Pacifica, CA and Lauren Rathman (Clark) of Cairo, NE; and her great grandchildren, Lottie, Zoé, Elle, Crew, Tate, Goldie, Graham, Reese, Henry, Sloane, Harlowe, Anna and Archie.
