She was predeceased by: her father Michael F Duda; her significant other Robert Nickles; her mother Florence Duda-Stava (Kaufman); her stepfather Edward Stava; her son John Edward Smith; and her sisters, Joan Duda and Shirley Brugman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dian Cheney (Doug) of Adams, NE and Joan Hogancamp (Ryan) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Kevin Vaughn, Michelle Cheney, Ben Jones, Neile Jo, Molly Hogancamp and John Nickles (Tina); and her sister Judy Sparks (Robert) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family for support of the Butterfly Pavillions in Omaha and Lincoln.
