He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hodgin and Buanta Hodgin (Thimgan); his son Daniel; his brother Daryl; and his sister-in-law Donna.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Miller; his sons, Delwin Hodgin (Penny) of Lincoln and Russell Hodgin (Linda Norris) of Portland, Oregon; his grandsons, Evan Hodgin of Lincoln and Eric Hodgin (Kate Mason) of Lincoln; his siblings, Elaine (Lonnie Folsom) of San Diego, California and Jerry Hodgin of Gretna; and his sister-in-law Barb Hodgin of Lincoln. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
