He is survived by: his wife Linda Zabel; his children, Michael Samples and Leslie Morton; his grandchildren, Julia Samples, Quentin Davis and Kaitlyn Davis; his siblings, Ed Samples (Peggy Surrena), Connie Parrish (Tony), James Samples, Cindy Zajicek (Allen), Cheryl Bice, Kevin Samples (Nancy), Chris Lane (David), Jerry Samples (Shirley Bradley) and Carin Jelinek (Chris Stickler); and his friend Gary.
