It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory L. Znamenacek of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlyn Znamenacek and Virginia Znamenacek (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Karen Salmonson Cole; his son Mason (Ashlee); his grandsons, Brooks and Quinn; his siblings, Sherry Elsner, Dan Znamenacek, Deb Roberts (Joe) and Linda Vogel (Mark Nelson); and his stepsons, Matt Tyler (Heather Talbot), Nick Tyler (Crystal), Scott Cole and Brian Cole. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Memorials to the family to establish an educational fund for his grandsons, Brooks and Quinn.
