It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Gillispie of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Franklin and Olivia Franklin (Neier); her daughter Kimberly Gillispie; and her siblings, Howard Wayne Franklin, Bill Franklin and Carol Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Gillispie; her children, Deborah Rodriguez (Ralph), Christopher Gillispie (Lori) and Donald Gillispie; and her grandchildren, Shannon, Jillian, Trinity and Kaylea. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
