He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph R. Baker and Anna M. Saathoff; his former life partner Melva; his sister Lavonna Farnsworth; and his parents-in-law, Ray Thompson, Jan Baker and Debra Baker.

He is survived by : his wife Donna R. Baker of Lincoln; his children, Connie Thompson of Lincoln, Rodney Baker of Dacula, GA, Bruce Baker of Lincoln and Dwain Baker of New Braunfels, TX; his brother Perry Baker (Ginny) of Des Moines, IA; and his niece Sheila Boykin.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to First Christian Church, Lincoln Bethany Lion's Club, or donor's choice.
