He is survived by : his wife Anne Heath (Lux) of Lincoln; his sister Patsy Sherfey of Alliance; his daughters, Brenda Wid (Mark) of Lincoln, Janice Heath of Wyoming and Angie Tietmeyer (Chris) of York; his nephew Chad Vrbka of Omaha; his grandsons, Michael Nolan (Whitney) of St. Louis, Eric Nolan of Florida, Travis Nolan (Melissa) of Grand Island, Cory Arent of Colorado, William Tietmeyer (Carly) of Wayne and Dawson Tietmeyer (Hailey) of York; his great grandchildren, Madelyn Nolan, Katelyn Nolan, Grant Nolan, Elijah Nolan, Dakota Nolan, Richie Nolan, Wesley Nolan, Genevieve Nolan and Blakely Tietmeyer; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Svehla (Don Antholz) of Lincoln and Charles Lux (Lori) of York.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (414 N Delaware Ave, York, NE 68467).

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated later in lieu of flowers.
