We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2022, at the age of 52, Heather Dews in Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandfather John W. Cattle, Sr.. She is survived by: her parent Dr. Van; her former husband Randall Dews; her daughter Kylie Megan; her husband Randy Dews; her son Connor Dews; her mother Becky Vahle (Cattle); her grandmother Virginia Clarke Cattle; her siblings, Van Christopher Vahle, Nicole of Isanti, MN and Kourtney of Chicago, IL; and her siblings-in-law, Sandy Fuchs of Fulton, MO, Patty Dews of DeSoto, MO and Don (Diane Dews) of Columbia, MO. She is also survived by aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the Lincoln Pediatric Group in memory of Heather.

I admired the way she always seemed to find the rainbow in a dark day and a spark in someone. She had a way about her that made everyone feel special.
