She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sokol and Veronica "Vernie" Sokol (Jarecki); her husband Leander Stachura; her son-in-law Bob Morand; her sister Kathryn Liss; her brothers-in-law, Don Long, Joe Liss and Daniel Stachura; and her nephews, Keith Liss and Glenn Sokol.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Stachura (Gail) of Lincoln, Cynthia Morand of Lincoln and Charles Stachura (Kelly) of Raymond; her grandchildren, Ryan Morand, Jamie Van Ert (Andrew) of Lincoln, Max Stachura of Lincoln and Zoie Stachura of Lenexa Kansas; her great grandchildren, Henry and Olivia Van Ert of Lincoln; her stepgranddaughters, Amy Rockenbach of Lincoln and Shelly Moore of Columbus; her brother Ed; her sister-in-law Annette Sokol of State College, Pennsylvania; her sister Mary; and her siblings-in-law, Allan Brock of Hickman, Vigil Stachura (Vickie) of Bloomington, Minnesota and Eileen Diers of Syracuse, Nebraska. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Memorials may be given to the family for future designation.
