He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Mussmann and Helen Mussmann (Koch); and his siblings, Norman, Lola, Ruth, Clara and Esther.

He is survived by: his significant other Ida; his children, Charleen (Dave) and Ken (Joan); his grandson Tanner; and his brother Oscar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
