He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Silvey and Gladys Silvey; his wife Mallie Silvey; his daughter Ruth Silvey; and his sister Imogene Mulkey.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Vogel (Steve) of New Braunfels, TX, Paul Silvey (Monica) of Methuen, MA, Dave Silvey (Beth) of Monrovia, CA, Philip Silvey of Rochester, NY, Steve Silvey (Lori) of Kentwood, MI, Lois Snyder (Steve) of Lincoln, NE, Martha Van Zee (Steve) of Warrenville, IL, Joe Silvey (Naisha) of State College, PA and John Silvey (Candace) of Vine Grove, KY. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
