He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann and Maria. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his sons, Patrick Hofmann (Karla) of Lincoln and Stephen Hofmann (Delycia) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Amber Rourke (Alex) of Lincoln and Newt Hofmann (Nicole) of Grand Junction; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Braydon and Brenton Rourke; his grandchildren, Sahara and Syrus Hofmann; and his pet Boo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
