With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James C. Malone Jr. of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on May 6, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping James' spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James C. Malone, and Mamie E. Malone, Sr. (Cox); his sister Billie Young; his in-laws, Wilfred and Isabelle Safarik; and his friends, Bill and Jackie Clark.

He is survived by : his wife Noreen M. Safarik of Lincoln. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and many friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity United Methodist (7130 Kentwell Ln, Lincoln, NE 68516).

Memorials are suggested to the Lincoln Southeast Kiwanis Foundation or to Trinity United Methodist Church.
