It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James N. Hartung of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Conrad and Karna Marie Hartung (Madsen). He is survived by: his children, Hannah Hartung (Vinny Magnusson), Jimmy Hartung, Nick Hartung and Jake Hartung (Maria Michalski); his former wife Lisa Hartung; and his siblings, Laura Davis (Mike Rodgers), John Hartung and Jeff Hartung (Cathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
