He is survived by: his mother Anna M Topf (Geeron) of Carroll, IA; his sisters, Teresa Ford (Jay) of Denison, IA and Veronica Busch (Chuck) of Johnston, IA; and his nieces and nephews, JoAnn Ford-Halverson, Michael Ford, Melinda Busch and Austin Busch. He is also survived by two great nephews and one great niece.
James' wish was for memorials to be donated to Catholic Relief Service to benefit Haiti.
