With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Searle of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on December 7, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Searle and Maime Searle (Saterlie); his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Betty; his brother Fred; and his grandson Tony.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Jeff Foote (Connie) of Omaha, Craig Foote (Lori) of Lincoln and Heidi Stark of Collinsville, OK; and also Syndee. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Eastridge Presbyterian Church, Tabitha's Journey House and Pheasants Forever.
