With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Logsdon (Lincoln, Nebraska), born in North Platte, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Logsdon and Margaret Logsdon (McCarthy); and his wife Leonita (O'Neill). He is survived by: his sister Margaret Ann DeAngelis; and his children, Sue Carlbom (Mark), Larry Logsdon, Mark Logsdon (Sang), Wayne Logsdon and Steve Logsdon. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (5200 R St, Lincoln, NE 68504). A rosary was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (7601 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68505).
