He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Miyeno and Lois Miyeno. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Svoboda); his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Joe Vavricek of Grand Island; his son Ryan of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Teagan, Bristol (Emmett Vavricek) and Jett Vavricek; his mother-in-law Donna Svoboda of Lincoln; his sisters-in-law, Sue Svoboda and Patty Heikes of Fremont; his nephew Tyler (Ashley Heikes) of Bennington; and his great-nieces, Alayna Stocker and Alexis Heikes of Bennington. He is also survived by cousins and dear friends.

The family requests memorials to the Fighter Jett Foundation in care of Mary Miyeno, 9150 Red Sky Lane, Lincoln, NE 68520.
