He was predeceased by: his parents, George Buckwalter and Clara Buckwalter; and his siblings-in-law, Herman Mueller, Ruby Heinke and Darlene McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Elizabeth Mueller; his children, Jeffrey Buckwalter (Heather), Matthew Buckwalter (Michele), Stephanie Martin (Troy) and Jodi Beard (Brian); his grandchildren, Hannah Barber (Eli), Sydney Calcagno (Anthony), Rachel Buckwalter, Andrew Buckwalter, Allyson Beard, Emma Martin, Alex Buckwalter, Ben Buckwalter, Carson Beard and Caitlin Buckwalter; his great grandchild Evelyn Barber; his brother Larry Buckwalter (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Dale Mueller (Bobbi), Dennis Mueller (Ann Jordan) and Karen Mueller. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
