She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Childers and Verna Childers (Peterson); her brother Edwin Childers; her son Mark J. Douglas; her grandson Nicholas Matthew Douglas; and her great grandchild Everett D. Flores.
She is survived by: her children, Deena Douglas (Russ Zierke), Larry Douglas (Barbara) and Lisa Travena; her granddaughters, Nicole Trevena Flores (Joseph), Abigail Trevena (Daniel Smithers) and Rachel Parks; and her great grandchildren, Esme Flores, Inez Flores and Noa Smithers.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Nebraska Chapter or Capital Humane Society.
