She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Westerhold and Emma Westerhold (Windels); her husband Rod; her daughter Jana; her siblings, Dale Westerhold and Carol Larsen; her siblings-in-law, Dennis Smith, Merlin Brondum, Myron and Karen Paulsen; and her nephews, David Paulsen and Kyle Westerhold.
She is survived by: her pet Nellie; her friends, Nancy Akins, Dorothy Dorau and Ann Steinmeyer; her children, Kimberly Castle (Jeff) of Marietta, Georgia and Steven Smith (Kathleen) of Lincoln; her son-in-law Kevin Furlong of Omaha; her siblings, Bill Westerhold (Shirley) of Omaha, Mark Westerhold (Judi) of The Villages, Florida and Gail Brondum of Omaha; her sister-in-law Peggy Smith of Rosalie; her grandchildren, Jenna, Jayne, Katelyn, Judson, Joshua and Ryan; and her close friend Rod Little of Lincoln. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
