With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice A. Christensen of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pokorney and Dorothy Pokorney (McHugh); and her brothers, Jerry and Jimmy Pokorney. She is survived by: her children, Toby Christensen (Tara) of Lincoln, NE and Darcie Bower (Mike) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Trenton, Kynlee, Carly, Elissa and Brandon; her siblings, Joan Royer (Jeff) of Omaha, NE and Jack Pokorney (Sharon) of Highlands Ranch, CO; her sister-in-law Marilyn Pokorney; and her close friend Gary Anderson of Lincoln.
