She was predeceased by: her parents, Valen Batenhorst and Dorothy Batenhorst (Buerman); her husband Arthur Pieper; her daughter JoAnn; her daughter-in-law Michele Pieper; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Batenhorst.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Pieper (Danita) of Overland Park; her grandchildren, Ashley and Nathan (Amiee); her son Russell Pieper of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Tonya, Lisa, Jenny, Ryan and Joseph; her son Steven Pieper (Terri) of Rantoul; her grandchildren, Matthew Kristopher (Raechel) and Hanna; her great grandchildren, Michael Tosh and Jennifer Suckstorf (Cody); her siblings, Kenneth Batenhorst, Dennis Batenhorst, Elaine Maly (Vince) of West Point and Lois Steuter (Allen) of Johnstown; and her sister-in-law Judy Pieper of Des Moines, Iowa.. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
