It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Ann Schleiger of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Syracuse, Nebraska, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hauschild and Lena Hauschild (Homfeld); her husband Kenneth D. Schleiger; her sister Elva; her brother-in-law Pete Peterson; her brothers, Maynard (Jane Hauschild), Vernon (Norma Hauschild), William (Marilyn) and Ardyce Hauschild; her sister-in-law Jackie (Clarence Thomas); and her nephew Todd Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Schleiger, Ken Schleiger, Jr. (Rose), Craig Schleiger and LeAnn Robinson (Richard); and her grandchildren, Ken Schleiger III, Mathew Schleiger, Kaylin Robinson and Jaylene Robinson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Lutheran Church or Capital Humane Society.
