He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred Pauline (Harms) and Jay Clark Hagerman, Sr.; and his sister Jane Hagerman. He is survived by : his children, Curt Jay Hagerman of Beatrice, NE and Crystal Leigh Beckman; his son-in-law Joshua David Beckman of Belgrade, MT; his grandchildren, Sloane Jordan and Darko Jay Hagerman; his extended family, Talisha, Dawson and Graicynn; and his sister Carol Niemeyer of DeWitt, NE. He is also survived by niece, nephews, and their families; and close friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church (4200 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68503). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the Evergreen Cemetery (408 N 33rd St, Beatrice, NE 68310).
