Jay Cawley Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on July 31, 2025, at the age of 102, Jay Cawley of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jay departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jay may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jay leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cawley and Erna Cawley (Loeffler); his siblings, Delores and Rex; and his wife Mary Cawley (Abbott).
He is survived by: his sister Valerie Spraeder (Michigan); and his children, Michael Cawley (Georgia), Jan Cawley (Los Angeles) and Timothy Cawley (Debra). He is also survived by daughter.
