She is survived by: her stepson Steve Obrist (Mary); her stepgrandchildren, Sarah, Ryan and Amanda; her stepdaughter Kerry Obrist; and her pets, Sophie, Izzy and Tilly.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roper and Son's Midtown Chapel (4300 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lincoln Church (4325 Sumner St, Lincoln, NE 68506). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512).
