He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Kohl and Genevieve Kohl; his wife Kay; his siblings, Wally and Nancy; and his granddaughter Molly.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Kohl Lamer, Julie Kohl Batterman and Jeff Kohl; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sam, John and Kate; and his great grandchildren, Alianna, Emmett and Maxim. He is also survived by many other relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (3825 Wildbriar Ln, Lincoln, NE 68516). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Larsen Tractor Museum or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Jerry's memory.
