He is survived by: his parents, John Paul Morrow and Mary Ann Hayes of Lincoln, NE.; and his sisters, Elizabeth Solomon (Morrow) and Abby Hyde (Morrow). He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, four nephews, and one niece, along with countless friends, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Holmes Lake Clubhouse (3701 S 70th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In accordance with Joel's wishes, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to organizations that were meaningful to him: Bryan Independence Center 1640 Lake St., Lincoln, NE.
