She was predeceased by: her father Joe Poland; her brother Mikel; her mother Elaine Poland; and her daughter-in-law Emily Fletcher. She is survived by: her husband Roger Fletcher; her son David; her grandchildren, Hudson and Avery; her children, Sarah (Marcus Hairston) and Daniel; her grandson Harrison; and her brother John Poland.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Capitol City Christian Church (7800 Holdrege St, Lincoln, NE 68505). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the CST Capitol City Christian Church (7800 Holdrege St, Lincoln, NE 68505). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Livingstone International University.
