He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Koenig and Dorothy Koenig; and his sisters, Virginia Robinson, Joan Oblonsky and Shirley Kulawik.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Koenig; his sister Gretchen Fitzpatrick of Topeka, KS; and his children, Jennifer (James Heck), John (Angela Koenig) and Christian (Misty Koenig). He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
