He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McLaughlin and Helen McLaughlin (Davey); his daughter Catherine Anne; and his sister Elaine McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hogrefe of Lincoln; his children, Sean, Patrick, Daniel McLaughlin and Helen Erion (Phil); and his grandchildren, Declan, Quinton, Everett, Kaitlyn McLaughlin, Ben and Wes Erion.
