He was predeceased by : his parents, Betty Lou Watts (Bell) and Harold Leroy Watts, Sr.; his grandparents, John Bell and Sylvia Bell (Dot); his brothers, Wayne and Harold Jr. (PeeWee); his grandson Alec Watts; his sister Sarah Durham; his parents-in-law, Kathryn Minnis and Lyle Minnis; and his brothers-in-law, Windel Dean, Gary Lee Minnis and Gene Jones.
He is survived by : his daughter Wende Lea of Columbia, MO; his wife Charlotte Joyce Minnis; his son Robert Watts (Jan); his granddaughter Patience Norris; his siblings, Jimmy Allen (Margaret) and Janet E. Watts; and his brother-in-law Rick Minnis (Loretta). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
