He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph T. O'Connor, Sr. and Mary E. Murphy O'Connor; his wife Barbara A. Prasso; his sisters, Patsy and Marie; his son Joey; and his pets, Winston, Maggie, Shadow and Vicky.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pat Aalberg (Mike) and Beth Jensen (Kevin); his daughter-in-law Shelley; and his sister Audrey Emerson.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:20 AM at the St John the Apostle Catholic Church (7601 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68505). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
He loved his parents and talked often of their patience and strength, traits he shared, as his father struggled with Parkinson's Disease from the age of 33.
