She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Fowler and Mabel Dickerson Fowler; her husbands, Cecil Burnside and George Schaeffer of Stapleton; and her siblings, Wesley (Alma), Herbert (Ora), Ervin (Merna), Mildford (Lucille), Norman (Grace), Shirley Dobbins (James), Golda Franklin (Gerald), Thelma Johnson (Vernon), Freida Simpson (Guy) and Lyla Blevins (Don).
She is survived by: her daughters, Trisha Lewis (Dave) of Lincoln and Connie Luers (Daryl) of Wahoo; her grandchildren, Jon Lewis of Lincoln, Julie Schlote (Josh) of Norfolk, Katie Frieden (Dan) and Kelsy Hays (Tyler) of Lincoln; and her great grandchildren, Jace Eddy, Jaden Eddy, Luke Frieden, Robin Frieden, Jesse Frieden and Harley Mae Hays. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Stapleton or the Village of Stapleton Splash Pad Project.
