She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Sieck and Selma Sieck (Beckman); her husband Lyle V. Higgins; her son Kenton V. Higgins; and her siblings, Lester, Melvin Sieck and Gladys Haas.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Higgins (Pam) of Independence and Stacye Higgins of Lincoln, Nebraska.; her grandchildren, Brian Higgins of Lincoln, Sean Higgins (Erica) of Austin, Chelsea Lindgren (Kyle) of Lincoln, Jeremy David Higgins of Lincoln, Robyn Valenti (Michael) of Kansas City and Corey Higgins (Ali) of Lincoln; and her brother-in-law Glenn Higgins of Lincoln, Nebraska.. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
