She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Claney and Vera Peterson; and her brother Terry Claney of Myrtle Beach. She is survived by: her husband Dean Emmons; her daughter Teri Branstetter; her son-in-law Sam Branstetter Jr.; her grandson Zach Branstetter (Lindsey); and her great grandchildren, Colton of Lincoln, Nebraska. and Cade Branstetter of Lincoln, Nebraska..
