She is survived by : her husband Rodney Helberg; her sister Janice Covault (Roy); her nephew Curt; her niece Lisa Moriarty (Brent); her great-niece Emma; and her great-nephews, Nick and Tyson. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512).
