She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Kucera and Helen Kucera (Harvanek); her husband Aloysius Schroer (Al); and her brothers, Emil Kucera, Anton Kucera and Donald Kucera (Bud).
She is survived by: her children, Richard Schroer (Sherry) of Lincoln, Ken Schroer (Denise) of Lincoln, Patricia Schroer of Malcolm and Mike Schroer (Andrea) of Brunswick, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Kerry Ohlschwager, David Schroer, Elizabeth Leddy (William), Kelly Schroer, Kyle Schroer (Heather), Alyssa Mapson, Victoria Sanders (Brett), Madeline Antill (Chris) and Lydia Robertson (Bryce). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (7601 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68505). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St John the Apostle Catholic Church (7601 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68505). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery (6700 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512).
