We announce the death of Julian R. Cortinas of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 26. Julian will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Herman Leonard and Julia Frances Williams; and his uncles, Earl and Craig Williams. He is survived by: his parents, Manuel Roberto Cortinas and Julia Ann Williams; his grandparents, Ramon and Ruby Cortinas; his siblings, Gabriel and Elsa Cortinas; his son Emilio Cortinas; his stepmother Gretel Cortinas; his stepsiblings, Andrea Osorio and Antonella Hernandez; his aunts, Fern Mattson (Steve) and Gwen Williams (Tahir Sandhu); and his uncle Carlos Cortinas. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
