Julie K. Nelson Obituary
We announce the death of Julie K. Nelson of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 64. Julie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Freese and Alida Freese (Brandt) of Plymouth; her brother Bruce Freese; and her pet Bella. She is survived by: her husband Mark Nelson of Lincoln; her daughters, Tori Sones (Bryan) of Lincoln, Ali Dostal (Kyle) of Omaha, Sami Karloff (Matt) of Lincoln and Amanda Lewis (Keaton) of Lincoln; her brothers, Mark Freese (Marlys) of Lincoln and Neal Freese (Linda) of Plymouth; and her sister-in-law Sandy Freese of Beatrice. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other brothers and sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the St. Mark Lutheran Church with the Church Elders in charge; and to LightShine Canine Rescue at P.O. Box 36, Whiteclay, NE 69365.
