She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edwin Plager and Evayline Plager (Laue); her grandmother Ellie; her husband Matt McCoy; her children, Wil Kiernan McCoy and Ava Kathryn McCoy; her mother-in-law Clarice Tegtmeier; her siblings, Glenn (Rebecca Plager) and Christy (Russ Waring); her siblings-in-law, Melissa McCoy (Paul Muff), Rebecca McCoy and Luther McCoy (Leanne); her father-in-law William "Bill" McCoy; her grandparents, Louis, Malinda Laue, Eli and Lydia Plager; her uncle Virgil Plager; and her aunt Dorothy Plager.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (4500 Duxhall Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516). A burial was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
