She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Komma and Katie Komma; her daughters, Gail Lee and Maureen France; her grandchildren, Joey, Hilton and Jason; her husband Dennis Schmidt; and her siblings, Karl, Joe, Rose, Bea and Clara.

She is survived by: her children, Gena Kinnison (Gary), Jackie Bower (John) and Jack Warne; her grandchildren, Jeff Kinnison, John Kinnison (Becky), James Bower (Courtney), Candace Wittstruck (Eric), Alicia Hernandez (Jorge), Aaron Warne, Kellie Tillotson (Tim) and Brian Warne (Kristina); and her great grandchildren, Brandon Kinnison, Isla Kinnison, Quin, Trase Bower, Jason, Elliot Wittstruck, Cristian and Connor Hain.
