She was predeceased by: her husband Russ; her parents, Gerald Pearson and Mabel Pearson (Neff); her siblings, Bill Pearson and Glenda Beck; her parents-in-law, Earl and Lucille Hicks; and her brother-in-law Ron McCoy.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Hicks (Joe Osterhaus) of Lincoln, NE and David Hicks (Jodi) of DeWitt, NE; her grandchildren, Maci Poland (Michael) and Carson Hicks (Julia); her great grandchildren, Myer and Myles Poland; her sister Joy Pearson; and her sister-in-law Mary Lu McCoy (Jack McVicker). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial has been established to Centenary United Methodist Church, Beatrice, with the funeral home in charge.
